Rob Gronkowski kept the show going when he slipped on stage while co-hosting New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Julianne Hough.

Gronkowski, 36, was dancing alongside Hough and several others to Tate McCrae's "Sports car" when he slipped and fell — and immediately struck a pose to complete the dance number.

Hough, 37, shared the clip on TikTok, captioning it "@gronk tackled the stage and his @Dancing with the Stars #DWTS audition! 🤪 (He’s okay!) #rockineve."

Ahead of his big break, the former NFL star shared a video on TikTok of himself dancing ahead of hitting the stage. "I thought there was no chance these moves would work #dancingtrend @New Year’s Rockin’ Eve," he captioned the now-viral video.

Hough made her co-hosting debut on the program alongside Gronkowski on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025, where the pair led the live broadcast from Las Vegas.

Ryan Seacrest helmed hosting duties in New York City for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2026, marking Seacrest’s 21st time hosting the show.

Seacrest, 50, was joined by his returning co-host Rita Ora, who helped lead the night’s iconic countdown in New York City.

Last year, Seacrest praised Ora’s hosting duties, telling PEOPLE he was "blown away. I knew she was talented, but this is not something you can just do.”

Chance the Rapper co-hosted the celebrations in Chicago, which led the CST countdown.
