While on the press tour for her brand-new movie, Wuthering Heights, actress Margot Robbieshared the one actress whose audition tapes she would watch to improve before her own auditions.
Per Variety, Robbie explained that she used Rachel McAdams'audition for The Notebook to prepare for her own auditions.
"I used to watch Rachel McAdams' audition for The Notebook before I would go to auditions. She’s so good, and she’s so charming and real, and like, in it...I used to watch it before I’d go to an audition, I was like, 'OK, just try and be as good as her,'" Robbie explained.
The Barbie actress went on, "Technically, you could say any part I got would’ve been in thanks to her because I was always watching her audition before. It’s just the commitment. I always watched it to remind myself that you have to fully commit in the audition room."

McAdams has been feeling the love from many actors of late. Recently, Thor actor Chris Hemsworthshared that McAdams' 2005 movie Wedding Crashers is his favorite movie and that he has seen it more than 100 times. According to Hemsworth, it's his go-to movie for a range of emotions and circumstances, including being lonely on a press tour or hungover on a Sunday.
Halle Berry, who was present at the same interview on The Graham Norton Show with McAdams and Hemsworth, jumped in as well, saying that she shares Hemsworth's love of McAdams and that The Notebook is her standard for what love should be.
McAdams seemed a bit overwhelmed by all the adoration the actors were expressing, at one point saying she needed a minute after hearing how many times Hemsworth has seen Wedding Crashers, but it's clear that she is an inspiration in the industry and that many look to her previous roles for a whole host of reasons.
