Jessie Cave is engaged to comedian Alfie Brown.
The Harry Potter star, 38, shared the news on Instagram on Sunday, April 12. Alongside a selfie of the pair in which she showed off her ring, she wrote, "12 years and 4 kids later …. It’s getting serious!!! 💍 💍 💍."
Cave and Brown can be seen lying together in bed as the actress displayed her hand adorned with a gold ring. Cave also shared a close-up photo of the diamond sparkler — set to The Dixie Cups' "Chapel of Love" — on Instagram Stories.

The couple, co-hosts of the podcast Before We Break Up Again, share four children: Donnie, 11, Margot, 9, Abraham, 5, and Becker, 3.
Cave, who played Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter movie franchise, frequently shares glimpses into her and Brown's life together, from daily outings to holiday celebrations.

In a New Year's post on Jan. 1, she detailed how she found 2025 "hard but beautiful" as their family adjusted to a big move.

"We moved from a small flat in London, where I’ve lived my whole life, to Liverpool, my new home," she wrote. "The kids started new schools. We all had to adjust to not living in basically one room and knowing what everyone else was doing every second of the day (I have found this change the hardest). We did up the house and made loads of mistakes and still have so much to finish but it’s safe and colourful and perfect for now."

She went on to share that she and Brown had launched their podcast, "which has kind of acted as couples therapy" and served as "a nice reminder that I have some interests other than pregnancy, birth and child-rearing."

On Jan. 15, Cave marked 12 years with Brown by sharing a slideshow of photos of the pair from throughout the relationship. The candid images show them laughing and smiling together, holding their newborn children and filming their podcast.
She captioned the post, "Twelve years today since I got pregnant on our “one night stand”. ❤️ LOVE ❤️ @alfiebrowncomedian."
Since her Harry Potter days, Cave has starred in several U.K. television series, including Trollied, Miss Scarlett and Buffering. She also appeared in the 2025 drama film The Thing with Feathers alongside Benedict Cumberbatch and Sam Spruell.
